Rico & Persuader Topwater tournament

The Rico & Persuader Topwater tournament will be held on August 29, 2026, at Windy Hill, Roosevelt Lake. The entry fee is $250 per team. The event runs from Safelight to noon. The payback is 1 place for every 5 entries and the top 2 biggest fish. This tournament does not require a membership, and is open to all anglers. There will be a 5 fish limit. 15 boat flights. There’s a Rico and Persuader Buzzbait giveaway with entry.

Cash is taken at the lake for payment. You will get a boat slip when you check in at the trailer that has the time you are due in. You will need to get your boat and livewell checked prior to launching. Boat checks will start at 3am. Make sure that you only have Ricos and Persuader topwater baits in the boat (see rules below). Non Rico & Persuader Topwater baits can be locked in a rod locker or boat compartment and the key handed to staff at the morning boat check. Your key will be returned at the weigh in. Prizes and awards are given out at the end of the tournament.
